Expedited Labour Market Opinion

(E-LMO) Pilot Project

Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC)/Service Canada (SC) has implemented a pilot project in Alberta and British Columbia to expedite the processing of Labour Market Opinions (LMO) for the occupations to the left.

The Expedited Labour Market Opinion (E-LMO) Pilot Project is a two-step process:

1. Employers apply to HRSDC/SC to participate in the Expedited Labour Market Opinion (E-LMO) Pilot Project.
   
2. If employers qualify, they can apply for Labour Market Opinions for the occupations listed above. Their applications will be processed within three (3) to five (5) business days of HRSDC/SC having received them.
